Privacy Policy — ChartCoach (Chart AI Analysis)

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how ChartCoach (the "App") accesses, uses, and protects information.


1. Information Accessed and Core Functionality


- Camera & Photos: With your permission, the App lets you take a photo of a chart or upload a screenshot. When you request an analysis, the image is sent to Google's Gemini API (a service of Google LLC) solely to generate the technical analysis. We do not store your images on our own servers. Google processes this data under its own terms: https://ai.google.dev/gemini-api/terms and https://policies.google.com/privacy

- AI Trading Mentor: Questions you type to the AI mentor, together with the related chart analysis, are sent to the Gemini API to generate an answer. Please do not include personal or sensitive information (such as account numbers or passwords) in your questions.

- Market Briefings & News Analysis: The App requests AI-generated market summaries and news analysis. These requests do not contain your personal data.

- Local Storage: Your analysis history, saved charts, learning progress and settings are stored locally on your device. We do not upload or back up this data to our servers.

- Internet Access: Used to send charts and questions for AI analysis, to obtain configuration needed to access the AI service, to load market briefings and news, and to process purchases.


2. In-App Purchases and Billing


The App offers optional premium features through subscriptions.


- Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play Billing. We never see, collect, or store your credit card numbers, bank details, or physical address.

- Transaction Data: Google Play provides us with purchase and subscription status (such as Order IDs, product IDs and timestamps) so we can confirm and manage your access to premium features.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect


- We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or physical address.

- We do not require you to create an account or log in, and we never ask for access to your brokerage or exchange accounts.

- We do not use advertisements, advertising identifiers, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.

- We do not sell or share your data for marketing purposes.


4. Not Financial Advice


ChartCoach is an educational tool. All analyses, briefings and mentor answers are generated by AI for informational purposes only, may be inaccurate, and do not constitute financial, investment or trading advice. Always do your own research before making any trading decision.


5. Data Retention and Deletion


Your history is stored on your device. You can delete analyses in the App, clear the App's data, or uninstall the App, which permanently removes all locally stored data. Images and questions sent for analysis are processed by Google according to the Gemini API terms linked above; we do not keep copies on our servers.


6. Your Rights (GDPR / RODO)


Users in the European Economic Area have the right to access, correct, or delete their personal data and to object to its processing. Because we do not store your personal data on our servers, most of your data is under your direct control on your device. For any request, contact us using the details below.


7. Children's Privacy


The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.


8. Security


Data sent for analysis is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Your history is stored locally on your device.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available at this link and in the Google Play Store listing.
