Privacy Policy — Fast Search

Last updated: 01.10.2026

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Fast Search (the "App") handles information when you use it.

In short: Fast Search has no servers and does not collect, store, or sell your personal data. When you search, your query goes directly from your device to the search service you choose.

1. How the App Works

- Text Selection & Sharing: When you select text in another app and choose Fast Search (from the text-selection menu or the "Share" menu), the App receives only that text so it can start a search. The text is not saved.

- Searching: The App opens your query on the service you choose (for example Google, YouTube, Google Maps, Wikipedia, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Reddit, IMDb, Pinterest, Google Translate or Amazon) in your browser or in a Chrome Custom Tab. The query is sent directly from your device to that service. We do not see, receive, or store your searches. Each service handles your query under its own privacy policy.

- Internet Access: Used to open searches and to load icons of the search services shown in the App.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

- We do not collect or store any personal data, search queries, or search history.

- We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

- We do not require an account or login.

- We do not use advertisements, advertising identifiers, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.

- We do not sell or share any data with third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

Searches are performed by the third-party services you select. When you open a search, you are subject to that service's privacy policy, for example:

- Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy

- Microsoft Bing: https://privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement

- DuckDuckGo: https://duckduckgo.com/privacy

We have no control over and are not responsible for the privacy practices of these services.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

The App does not store your searches or any personal data, so there is nothing to delete. Uninstalling the App removes it completely from your device.

5. Your Rights (GDPR / RODO)

Users in the European Economic Area have rights regarding their personal data. Because Fast Search does not collect or store personal data, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export, or erase.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

7. Security

No personal data is stored by the App or transmitted to us, which minimises the risk of a data breach.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available at this link and in the Google Play Store listing, with an updated date.
