Privacy Policy — Just Today

Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how Just Today (the "App") accesses, uses, and protects information.


In short: Just Today has no servers and does not collect, transmit, or sell your personal data. Your tasks, habits, and progress stay on your device.


1. Information Accessed and Core Functionality


- Local Storage: Your tasks, habits, plans, streaks, statistics and settings are stored locally on your device in an on-device database. We do not record, store, or transmit this content to any external server.

- Notifications & Reminders: With your permission, the App schedules local reminders for your tasks and habits. To deliver reminders on time, the App uses exact alarms and restores scheduled reminders after your device restarts. All reminders are created and delivered on your device; no reminder data is sent to us.

- Internet Access: Used only to process purchases through Google Play Billing and to show the Google Play in-app review prompt.


2. In-App Purchases and Billing


The App offers optional premium features through subscriptions and a one-time ("lifetime") purchase.


- Payment Processing: All financial transactions are handled securely by Google Play Billing. We never see, collect, or store your credit card numbers, bank details, or physical address.

- Transaction Data: Google Play provides us with purchase and subscription status (such as Order IDs, product IDs and timestamps) so we can confirm and manage your access to premium features. Your premium status is stored locally on your device.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect


- We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or physical address.

- We do not require you to create an account or log in.

- We do not use advertisements, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.

- We do not operate servers that store your data.


4. Data Retention and Deletion


Because your data lives on your device, you are in control of it. You can delete individual tasks and habits in the App at any time. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App permanently removes all locally stored data. Since we do not store your data on any server, there is no server-side data for us to delete.


5. Children's Privacy


The App is a general-audience productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.


6. Your Rights (GDPR / RODO)


Users in the European Economic Area have rights regarding their personal data. Because Just Today does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data held by us to access, correct, export, or erase. All of your information remains under your control on your own device.


7. Security Measures


Because your data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us, the risk of a remote data breach involving your personal content is minimised. Protecting your device with a screen lock further protects your data.


8. Updates to This Privacy Policy


We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available at this link and in the Google Play Store listing, with an updated Effective Date.
